Born out of the passion of their founders, Sportissimo bicycle stores are the go-to place for a vast assortment of Pinarello, Trek, Cannondale or Specialized brand models but also for the right advice from a team who are all cycling enthusiasts themselves.
Sportissimo was established in Modena in 1990, soon becoming one of the area’s most important retailers of bicycles and accessories thanks to its outstanding selection. To better respond to the needs of our growing number of customers, in the 2000s we opened two additional stores, including repair and servicing, in the Modena province. From the outset, we have been committed to helping customers – seasoned and beginners alike – find the right products that will allow them to live out their passion for cycling in the best possible way.

Striving towards a goal, exploring, immersing yourself in nature, overcoming your limits, feeling the fatigue, pedalling in silence, being in the company of others, feeling good about yourself, enjoying the summer air at night, pushing for more, teaching your son or daughter to ride, unplugging, training to win, thinking you won’t make it, getting dirty, making new friends, taking in the scent of the woods, sweating, feeling invincible. This is what cycling is all about. This is what WE are all about.
We like bringing our experience to the stores and sharing it with you. That’s why we never get tired of looking for and trying out the newest bicycles just launched in the market and the latest accessories. We were one of the first in Italy to believe in the potential of a number of American brands that not long after became staples in the Mountain Bike scene. Today we are an official reseller of the Cannondale, Pinarello, Specialized and Trek brands.
A tight-knit team
Community and friendship are what unites our group, driving us for the past 20 years and keeping us strong. Today, the team has over 450 enrolled members entitled to assistance before, during and after the events in which we take part, which include MTB or road bicycle competitions and races as well as meets, touring adventures, and cycle-themed events. We take every opportunity we can to live out our passion for cycling – together.
