FEATURED FABRICS

Type.441 is a slightly compressive fabric, soft as silk, but more tear-resistant than the traditional fabric used in our bib shorts. It also actively refreshes, protecting from UV rays and neutralizing odors. Ossidia is a very elastic material that increases breathability while reducing pressure on sensitive areas.

CONSTRUCTION/FIT

For these bib shorts, we used the AEPD racingFit cut with standard-length legs. Every fabric panel, every tape, and every stitch are designed to ensure stability, comfort, and aerodynamic performance. ASSOS bib shorts are legendary, and this new design proves it.

ENGINEERING

A-Lock Engineering™: the rollBar suspenders, modified ergoBox structure, and the unique butterfly panel work together to support your weight on the saddle, ensuring stability and comfort without chafing during the most intense efforts.

Carbon Xbib: a strap system with an A-shaped structure that limits vertical elongation at the back, ensuring a secure fit and stabilizing the chamois. The double-faced carbon elastic reduces drying time compared to previous versions with carbon on one side only.

Ultralight Leg Grippers: 6 cm height leg gripper that clings to the thigh thanks to the skin-friendly elastomer, without silicone treatment, to ensure a soft and ultra-light grip.

EQUIPE RS s9 Sundeck: Lightweight chamois with reduced volume to optimize breathability. The top layer of odor-resistant microfiber returns in basalt gray, honoring the volcanic rock that gives us strength, stability, and courage.

Shock-Absorb Damping System Mono 9: 9 mm race pad featuring compressive foams and 3D Waffle panels to reduce weight and increase air circulation. The thermoformed structure reduces creases and irritation.

goldenGate: seams that secure the chamois at the front and rear, allowing the chamois to follow your body’s movements gently.

Sundeck Superlight: a soft and comfortable fabric panel on the front of the chamois to increase airflow and relieve pressure on sensitive areas, giving a more aggressive fit to the shorts.

whirlKrater: similar to the kraterCooler system, but with strategically placed holes throughout the chamois and foam layers to promote the passage of fresh air.
