Leveraging data science, we have perfected every detail of the S-Works Torch upper for better fit and unmatched performance. The BOA® cable is shifted downwards and angled, preventing forefoot lift. This evolution eliminates the need for a Velcro strap, while providing a structure that enhances power and eliminates unwanted pressure or pinching. Adaptive materials allow the natural movement of the foot where needed for greater comfort, while the zonal reinforcement, based on collected data, keeps the foot wrapped for sharp power output and optimal efficiency.

Driven by over 100,000 foot scans from our RETÜL data, we recognized that both a standard and a wide sole would be suitable to best fit the full spectrum of human foot shapes. An internal reinforcement adds stiffness and durability. The result is a 20-gram weight reduction, greater efficiency, and immediate power transfer.

Always based on RETÜL data, we evaluated the need for more space to accommodate the Achilles tendon to increase comfort. We solved this by creating an asymmetric heel pocket that offered more space while maintaining excellent connection. We then ensured optimal knee alignment and greater comfort.
